Pricing Policy

Every single one of our jobs are unique so our prices must reflect this. That is why we encourage you to tell us what it is you want us to do, so we can give you a tailor made quotation. Some typical costs are given below. We do not charge by the hour like many other installers, we charge per job no matter how long it takes.

Average Costs

These costs are only a guideline and should not be taken for granted, they depend on the install type and / or bracket type used.


Wall mounting of 42-50" TV with flat / tilt bracket - £299.99

Wall mounting of 42-50" TV without bracket - £249.99

Wall mounting of 50" TV with cantilever bracket - £369.99

In wall wiring (plasterboard walls) - £59.99 with installs only.

Wall Mounting + Bracket + Installation + Demonstration

The price includes a full installation to a suitable wall (brick or internal wall with suitable blocks or studs). It also includes a consultation visit OR telephone call to assess the equipment and the time required to complete the work.  If any cables or connectors are needed you will be given a final price before we commence any work. The routing of cables behind plasterboards is a very labour intensive exercise and hence is subject to additional cost, please email for more information.

 
Please be aware that any cables or leads supplied by C.H.C.I are chargeable. Therefore we recommend that all leads supplied with your equipment are made available to the installer.
 
 
DVD / VCR / Home Theater Kit Installation
 
This is for installation and tuning of other AV equipment such as DVD recorders, Home Theater Systems, VCR etc. It also includes a consultation visit or telephone call to assess the equipment required and estimate the time required to complete the work.  If any cables or connectors are needed you will be given a final price before we commence any work.
 
Surround Sound installations come in two options:
 
  • Basic - Installed to your TV, speakers wired and placed around your room, and tested.
  • Full - As above but wires are hidden from view in cable trunking and hidden under carpets where neccessary.
 
Please be aware that any cables or leads supplied by C.H.C.I are chargeable. Therefore we recommend that all leads supplied with your equipment are made available to the installer.
 

PC Installations - incl. wireless routers and Broadband

There are no hourly rates on PC services installations, we charge standard prices as most installations are very similar.

The price for a PC installation is £39.99. This will include installing any peripherals you may have including monitor, printer, scanner, webcam, speakers. It will also include accompanying software installation.

Installation of a wireless router and 1 extra wireless PC or laptop is £49.99. Extra computers on the network are charged at £14.99 each.

Broadband setups are £39.99.
 
We can also advise you on what type of router to buy. Just email us with you service provider and we will gladly recommend a router for you.
