Here are a few examples of past installations that we have carried out. Brief descriptions explain each installation.

Pioneer 43" Wall Mounted with Surround Sound and In-Wall Wiring

The customer required the TV to be mounted on the wall above an electric fireplace, and the aerial and sky feeds to be rerouted to the other side of the room. We gladly accepted the request of in-wall cabling, the power cable was extended and the 3m scarts were added. The tilt mount was hung using steel rods and cement. We built the stand and arranged the sky box and DVD, then we added the surround sound speakers around the room with cables under the carpet for the rear speakers.

Philips 50" Wall Mounted with Surround Sound and In-Wall Wiring

The 50 inch screen was mounted on a plasterboard and block combination wall. The whole project was wired "in wall" including that centre speaker. Power came out on the left of the fireplace, AV cables to the right.

Samsung 50" Wall Mounted with Surround Sound and Channelled In-Wall Wiring

This install is possibly the showcase of our work so far! It's a 50 inch Samsung with a channelled wall. The work effort was enormous in just under 9 hours we had channelled the wall laid the cables and re-covered them, ready for a coat of plaster to be added the next day. The result is an awesome display complimented by a Samsung Theatre Kit which acted as a High Definition DVD Upscaler. A true home cinema!

Sharp 15" Wall Mounted

This is a 15 inch Sharp LCD mounted on a wooden stud wall frame with cables dropped down behind a layer of plasterboard. The board was approximately an inch away from the brick behind so there was plenty of room for cables, but the screws that we used were 5 inches long to get a more secure fix.

42" Panasonic Plasma Wall Mounted

This 42" plasma was mounted above a fireplace on a plasterboard and breeze block wall. Because of the fireplace the conduit had to be cut to run the cables. The power cable was replaced as it was simply too short. The customer required a 3m scart cable extention too, this was supplied on the day of the install.

40" Samsung LCD Installed with Home Cinema System

This 40" plasma was installed and tuned to Sky and a VCR. We also installed on the same day a new 1000 Watt Panasonic surround sound system, the tall-boy speakers were placed strategically around the room and the wires were hidden under carpets (where possible) or hidden in D-Line conduit. The engineer also carried out extensive cable management behind the TV to add to the visual effect. The results of the install are pictures below. The second picture shows the paintable conduit along the edges of the marble and skirting board.

Hitachi 42" Wall Mounted with Floating Shelves and In-Wall Wiring

The screen was installed above a fireplace and the floating shelves were added to keep the young family members away from the boxes! All wires were hidden "in wall" from the TV to the shelves and from the shelves to the power sockets below.

LG 37" on Cantilever Bracket with Surround Sound

This project was based on a cantilever bracket that was needed due to sitting arrangements. The cantilever was mounted on a solid brick wall so the wiring was hidden in conduit. An LG surround sound system was also installed with wiring hidden in smaller conduit which can be seen on the top of the skirting board (it is white - so look hard!).

LG 32" on Tilt Bracket with Surround Sound and DVD Recorder

The LG 32" LCD was mounted onto a corner wall with a tilting bracket, the surround sound was wired in and the DVD recorder tuned. All the boxes were placed onto a glass stand underneath the TV. Detailed explanations of all the equipments features were given to the customer and family.

Samsung 32" on Tilt Bracket above Fire Place

This install was on a Samsung N73 series 32" LCD. The TV was to be mounted above the fireplace and the Sky, and VCR/DVD recorder combi was to be placed in the alcove at the side of the chimney breast. The cables were run inside conduit which was the same colour as the wall to blend in as much as possible. The picture was taken from behind the seating in the room.

LG 42" Plasma with In-Wall Wiring

The LG screen had already been mounted when we were called in to finish the job. This customer had their screen mounted approximately one year prior and did not know what to do with all the wiring. We gladly accepted the challenge of routing the cables behind the plasterboard. However, on arrival we found that the gap was only 6mm, bearly big enough for the cables let alone to feed the scart plugs through, so, we disassembled all the cables including HDMI, aerial, Sky coax, Scart, and power. Once all the plugs were off the leads, we fed the cables through and then rebuilt the plugs! The whole process took approximately 2 hours but the effects are now stunning.

Samsung 26" Bedroom TV

The screen was mounted in a bedroom in the clients house. The TV was only to be used for TV and DTV services so we only needed to extend the power cable and aerial. It was mounted on a fixed bracket using steel bolts and resin fixing.

LG 32" Games Room TV

This LG 32" was mounted in a games room, designed to look as flush as possible. The original (unused) gas fireplace was covered and the cables hidden under trunking painted to match the wall. The TV has connection to an XBOX360, HD DVD Player, as well as the usual DTV services. The stereo in the room has also been setup with an iPod dock.

Philips 50" on Cantilever Bracket with Floating Shelves

This install was one of the more challenging jobs, we fitted a 50" Philips TV on a VESA 800x400 cantilever double arm bracket! The customer's living area was a very long, but very narrow room, with no room for the screen on the end walls. So to combat the problem the huge screen now pulls out to be placed in the middle of the room! The bracket and TV combination weighed over 160Kg and was not a simple task. The whole structure is held in place by no fewer than 16 steel bolts, which have been cemented into the wall. The AV equipment was installed onto a floating shelf and all cables were hidden. Clever cable management allowed cables to be out of sight when the arm was extended and pushed flat against the wall.

Sony 40" on Tilt Bracket with Floating Speakers

This install was done in under three hours and involved a 40" Sony TV, Sky HD, and a BOSE 2.1 HTK. The conduit is hiding all the wires from view and extra wires for other pieces of equipment can be added at a later date.
