What Is a Media Centre PC?

A media centre is a version of a computer that lives in your living room and compliments your TV. It combines most, if not all, of your current boxes into one unit!

What Will a Media Centre Do?

It is primarily a PC just like any other, except it comes in a "case" not a "tower" (see picture below). It can include analogue and/or digital TV tuners, AV inputs, memory card readers and CD/DVD players. It can record TV programmes at a touch of a button to the hard drive, which can be burnt to DVD. It can store thousands of digital photographs, thousands of music tracks, and hundreds of DVDs, all accessible WITHOUT inserting the CDs/DVDs. Above all of this it can also access the internet in the comfort of your living room. Media centres come with remote controls too, so you now only need 1 remote!!!!

Installations outside of the Staffordshire area will be subject to travel expenses.
